Wow! US politicians getting involved - this issue has become much bigger than the usual gamer outrage.

Certainly Activision will also be thinking about how to stay on the right side of the public and regulators. I do think this will not only lead to EA reexamining how they do business, but shake up the entire industry.

@yarbie1000 - that is the perfect appraisal.

I came to read an article that would be substantially about boob streamers, but it was only a quick reference in the intro. The actual story is a a ResetEra rehash about a guy who lied to get a Steam refund. Clickbait.

'Has started'? Four years into a generation and work has only started now - madness. Did Microsoft not think it important to prioritise development of exclusives beforehand?

Sony are not perceived in the same negative light as EA! Dishonest click bait headline.

I saw a video of an XBO X boosted version of the original Mirror's Edge. It looks amazing!

I have great sympathy with anyone who is in the bad place to contemplate suicide. No judgement on the guy and I'm glad he's doing better and wish him well. However I actually hate articles like this. Big websites publish them to 'prove' the power of gaming. Like all those articles about how playing a game healed a relationship or a marriage or mended a friendship. These websites like these stories because they selfishly use them to prove gaming is mature, yet these same websit...

@Bigpappy You may be right. But judging the article solely by its content all this guy is saying is that Xbox One X should have launched with a new game that can showcase its graphical power advantage.

Even if you don’t agree with it that sounds a reasonable opinion.

Is this going to become a thing now?!

I don’t see the merit in comparing the Xbox One X edition with the Nintendo Switch version because there will be very few gamers who will be trying to decide out of the two which version to buy.

This is more of an exercise in underlining the power of the Xbox One X to Xbox fans.

It is good to see the power difference but they are two different products. Switch deliberately less powerful because it’s...

ImTrumPeach wrote a well-reasoned post disagreeing with Deep-Throat. But Deep-Throat did not like a different (and completely inoffensive) opinion so he reported it as 'inappropriate!' Come on Deep-Throat, N4G is a great place where we can all chat about games and sometimes others will have different opinions from us, it doesn't mean we should silence them for an abuse of the inappropriate button.

Here's ImTrumPeach's comment:
So here it "...

Perfect score?

The XBO X being the most powerful console warrants a high score - but perfect? If power is the only criteria then last year they should have given PS4 Pro full marks - although I don't think it deserved it.

There are many criteria to use when reviewing a console including performance, controller, exclusive games, third party games, online service, unique features and user interface.

I think all 3 consoles have fantas...

IGN gave this 5/10. Other websites are mostly giving this 50%. Hardcore Gamer giving this almost full marks is surprising. Do they love the game or do they feel they have to be cheerleaders for Microsoft? They don't need to be, they don't need to uprate it, let the power of the Xbox One X hardware speak for itself.

I'd love to see it! I wouldn't expect a full remake, but a HD remaster would be possible and inexpensive for Nintendo to make. They could probably release it next year during a quiet month.

The timing of Sony's announcements was because they were part of their appearance at Paris Games Week.

@DJK!NG_Gaming. Honestly appraising the online service is not the same thing as hating.

You attempt to dispute my point about the matchmaking service - then say it is 'coming.'

Instead of pretending everything is perfect why not tweet Nintendo - this could be a powerful message that helps them recognise that there are areas where they can improve the online service so YOUR experience is better.

Nintendo have done a great job with the Switch and its unique place as a home/portable gaming system. No one is asking them to emulate the PS4/XBO model. However the online system for Switch owners needs to be improved as it is lacking ...

Abriael is using hyperbole to say gaming revenue has soared when the facts contradict his claims.
Before you get angry - just analyse the numbers given.

FY17 Q1 - $1,885 million
FY17 Q2 - $3,617 million
FY17 Q3 - $1,906 million
FY17 Q4 - $1,643 million

So that means Q2 did get a big increase. But then a big drop in Q3 and Q4 is predicted to be less than Q1.
Also note that Surface hardware profits are listed but Xb...

'If Capcom's Has Money Troubles Who Will Buy Them Out'

The word Capcom doesn't need that apostrophe and S. The sentence should have a question mark at the end of it. If websites can't write basic English how can we have any respect for what they have to say?
